Luckily, I've got an invitation tonight and registered with Wallop. As Orkut seems to be still acting up, I really can not compare yet but hovering menus and sharing stuff like music, pictures, blogs etc. seems to be quite easy.
I've seen a few quirkiness, eg. when I tried to delete a picture, but it may be just that I am not well aware of how it works. I'll post more info later when I find more about it...
